Welcome! My name is Ainsley Bloomfield, and I am an author and illustrator based in rural Virginia. Ever since I can remember, I've been telling stories and drawing pictures.

I made my first "book" when I was four. I taught myself ink and watercolor painting in middle school, published a simple ABC book in 2016, and started making greeting cards in 2018 (to earn extra money during college).

In 2025, I published a longer picture book in the style of Beatrix Potter, The Story of Marlin, the Cat. My latest book is My Country, 'Tis of Thee, an illustrated take on the classic patriotic song.

In addition to my books, I offer:

My work is guaranteed free of AI and digital elements (with the exception of coloring pages rendered from my original art). Every line is intentional, every stroke hand-painted. All books and cards are printed in the USA on sustainable, high-quality, USA-made paper.
